For the first time, SUMMIT Church met as a whole at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. All campuses met, making the attendance at 7200 people. It was incredible. We stood shoulder-to-shoulder trying to enter and find a seat. The Lord's presence was everywhere. JD spoke about the gospel. duh. and over 300 people were baptized. It was overwhelming and beautiful and filled with such life. Seeing us outside (my favorite place to worship) in the middle of downtown durham, singing praise songs and learning about the Lord. It was quite an experience. I still prefer the more intimate gatherings better, but seeing everyone at one place for one Sunday was quite a sight. Praise be to the Lord.
